CANDY GIRL TUTORIAL





Supplies needed:

Scraps with Attitude tube or tube of choice

I used Missy's Candy Girl tube for this tutorial. You can purchase her art here.
Thank you Missy.
Scrapkit: I am using the matching Scraps with Attitude kit called "Candy Girl" which you can also get by going here.

Template of choice: I am using template 174 from Addictive Pleasures which can be found here

Plugins used: Xero-Radiance, Xero-Bad Dream, Lokas3D Shadow, Eyecandy 4000 (Gradient Glow)

This tutorial is written for those who have working knowledge of PSPX2 (any version will do). This tutorial was written by me on June 10, 2012. Please do not copy or paste on any other forum, website or blog provide link back to tut only. Please do not claim as your own. This tutorial is copyrighted to me. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.


Ok - let's start and remember to save often.

Open the template and using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original and delete the copywrite layer.

Select the Circle Raster 2 layer

Select all, float, and defloat

Paste paper1 as a new layer and resize 80 percent

Invert your selection and hit delete

Select none

Select your magic wand (Mode: Add(shift), RGB Value,Tolerance 15, Feather 0, Check Contiguous and Anti-alias)

Select Pink sections on paper and Add Adjust,Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise (Settings: Uniform, 50% Noise, Monochrome checked)

Delete/Hide original circle layer

Select rectangle raster 1 layer

Select all, float, and defloat

Paste paper3 as a new layer

Invert your selection and hit delete

Select none

Delete/Hide original rectangle layer

Select rectangle raster layer 7

Repeat above steps with same paper

Select none

Delete/Hide original rectangle layer

Select rectangle raster layer 5

Select all, float, and defloat

Again paste paper9 as a new layer and resize by 80 percent

Invert your selection and hit delete

Delete/Hide original rectangle layer

Select rectangle raster layer 6

Repeat above steps

Select circle raster layer 4

Select all, float and defloat

Add a new raster layer

Flood fill with gradient of choice at linear style, Angle 45, Repeat 0

Copy close up tube of choice and paste on top of gradient

Select invert and delete

Select none

Change closeup to Luminance (Legacy)

Apply Xero Bad Dream to close-up at setting of choice

Drop the opacity on close-up down to about 55

Apply dropshadow and merge down

Apply Effects, Texture effect, Blinds at Width 2, Opacity 15

Delete/Hide original circle

Select raster layer 3

Repeat above steps

Copy and paste tube of choice and position where desired

Apply Xero Radiance at setting of choice

Apply Lokas 3D Shadow

Select bottom of tag and add new raster layer

Flood fill this layer with Gradient of choice

Apply mask of choice and merge group

Add any additional elements you like.

Add any dropshadows you like

Crop and resize as desired

Add copyright info, license number and name and you're done!
