DARK GOTHIC





Supplies needed:

I am using the amazing art from Lidia Misfit for this tutorial, which you can find here

Scrapkit: I am using a gorgeous kit from Niqui's Designs called "Dark Gothic" which you can get by going here

Mask of Choice

Plugins used: Xero-Radiance, Alien Skin Xenofax 2 - Lightning, Lokas 3D Shadow

This tutorial is written for those who have working knowledge of PSPX2 (any version will do).

This tutorial was written by me on August 26, 2012. Please do not copy or paste on any other forum, website or blog provide link back to tut only. Please do not claim as your own. This tutorial is copyrighted to me. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Ok - let's start and remember to save often.

Open a new 700x650 blank canvas

Select nq-element55 frame layer and resize 90%

Paste on top of canvas and rotate right 20%

Select your magic want and click in the center of the frame

Select all, Modify, Expand by 4

Paste nq-paper11

Select invert, delete, select none

Move paper below the frame

Select the nq-element6 and paste on top of the frame layer

Reposition it to the right-side where desired

Select nq-element1 and paste below the paper layer

Select nq-element50 and paste below the gate element
Reposition on the left side where you desire

Select nq-element3 and paste on top of the gate 3 element - I resized my element by 88%

Select nq-element59 and paste on top of the frame layer

Resize by 40% and reposition where you desire

Select nq-element60

Paste on top of the gate layer and reposition it on the top right

Select your nq-element8 and paste it on top of your frame layer

Reposition it on the top right corner of the frame

Select the moon element60

Add a new raster layer and apply Alien Skin Xenofex Lightning with the following settings:



Copy and paste tube of choice and position where desired

Apply Xero Radiance at setting of choice

Apply Lokas 3D Shadow

Select New raster layer and flood fill with color or gradient of choice

Move layer to the bottom of the template

Apply Mask of choice

Merge group and move to the bottom

Add any additional elements you like.

Add any dropshadows you like

Crop and resize as desired

Add copyright info, license number and name
